Sourced from the Uco Valley, this Malbec needs roughly an hour in the decanter to unwind. Aged 12 months in 80% French oak, this Malbec has a deep bouquet of graphite, blackberry compote, coffee grounds, and allspice. The palate yields dense flavors of blackberry cordial, black raspberry, blueberry and graphite. Structured, rich and needing some time for everything to fully amalgamate, this should be enjoyed following another year of bottle age. (Best 2017-2024) - December, 2016 (OB)
