The 2015 Caro is a blend of 85% Malbec and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon which begins with profound aromas of ripe blackberries, red plums, tobacco, eucalyptus, spices, loam and dried violets all taking shape in the glass. Full-bodied, velvety and concentrated, with notable underlying acidity adding a lovely fresh character to balance the sweetly ripened fruit, as everything comes together beautifully on the long finish. Excellent now, but should also age remarkably well.
