The 2015 Fay Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from alluvial soils on the estate’s 66-acre historic vineyard. It begins with highly perfumed aromatics of red currants woven together with intense lavender and subtle hints of cinnamon which all take shape in the glass. On the palate this is elegant and beautifully polished, with a lovely opulent, silky texture that leads up to the graceful finish. Red fruits and floral continue to leave a lasting impression. Overall, this is a pretty Cabernet, which will likely begin to show its best with some additional bottle age.
