It begins with stunning aromas of ripe blackberries, currants and dark cherries which are laced with graphite, crushed violets and exotic spices along with traces of iron, tobacco and sage. This full-bodied red is beautifully structured and polished, with a gorgeous round, velvety texture. It goes on to impress as rich layers of ripe, concentrated fruit, consisting of blackberry and cherry flavors merge together with spices and continue to expand seamlessly through the beautifully contoured, voluptuous finish. This utterly fascinating Cabernet displays a wonderful combination of power and finesse and while it is already drinking beautifully upon release, it also possesses the potential for a drinking window that could span two decades.
