The 2018 Château Haut-Boutisse Saint-Emilion Grand Cru offers inviting aromas of dark cherries and red plums which are laced with tobacco, spices and hints of wet stones which all come together in the glass. On the palate this is medium-bodied with a gorgeous silky texture and lovely overall balance through the pretty finish. This is accessible now and should continue to cellar nicely with some short-term cellaring.
