The 2017 Bussia is another gorgeous Barolo from Giacomo Fenocchio. As this slowly begins to open it releases stunning aromas of raspberries and wild strawberries, which are followed by fresh cut florals, menthol, leather and underlying hints of sweet spices. This is beautifully structured and impresses with its gorgeous polished texture and excellent balance from start to finish. Overall, this is a phenomenal showing which is already displaying some appealing characteristics, but it will ultimately be best if allowed another few years in bottle to soften.
