The 2017 Bricco Ambrogio is a lovely showing which instantly opens to pretty aromas of cherries, strawberries and red plums which are lacws with eucalyptus, exotic spices, leather, minerals and hints of chocolate powder all taking shape. On the palate this is medium body, with excellent finesse backed by a nice tannin structure and a long finish. Extremely well done for the vintage. While this is accessible today, it will likely need a few more years in bottle before it hits its stride.
