The 2019 Rosso di Montalcino from Casanova di Neri is a knockout. This beautiful Rosso is made of 100% Sangiovese from 45 year old vines. It offers aromas of black cherries, red berries, leather, black olives, dried green herbs, tar, violet, forest floor, crushed stone and a touch of mint. On the palate this is medium-bodied with a mouthful of juicy red and dark berries which combine with earthy flavors that burst on to the long supple finish. Showing incredible freshness and concentration this should of on to drink exceedingly well for the next decade.
