DOMAINE SERENE Chardonnay, Dundee Hills ‘Récolte Grand Cru’’ 2017 Simply a superb Chardonnay coming out of Dundee Hills by Domaine Serene, this wine is aged for 17 months in 100% French oak barrels. Bruised apple, Asian pear, roasted cashew butter, honeysuckle and a hint of cucumber-lime essence form the nose on this compelling and absolutely delicious Chardonnay. At first blush, the palate is layered with primary luscious flavors of roasted peach, fresh apricot, honeydew melon and slivered almonds with secondary notes of mushrooms, freshly baked brioche and beeswax. The high acidity is absolutely balanced with the fullness and richness of the wine. Highly recommended.
