One of the best Pinot Noirs to come out of Willamette Valley, this special barrel select Pinot Noir is hand selected from the best barrels the estate has to offer. It is aged for 18 months in 100% French oak barrels. At first blush the decadent nose shows aromas of brandied cherry, potpourri, dark baking chocolate, freshly cut brown mushrooms, roasted pine nuts and hints of red licorice. Gorgeous full body, massive length and gentle power complete the core of a wine with flavors of red plum, blackberry puree, huckleberry, cigar box and black tea dominate the palate. A wine that really showcases what a Pinot Noir can become from the best of Oregon. Highly recommended.
