The 2017 Terre Rubine Barolo opens to wonderful fresh aromas of ripe dark cherries and strawberries, which are woven together with floral, mineral, licorice and a subtle hint of tar. It possesses a lovely firm, polished texture with outstanding balance and structure, with a fine, silky texture that leads into the pretty finish. While this shows some early appeal, it should only also benefit from a few years of bottle age.
