A combination of 99% Syrah and 1% Viognier which gives the wine a beautiful white blossom floral note on the nose, this wine is aged 16 months in French oak with 25% of the barrels being new. On the nose, you will find the saltiness of Italian prosciutto, the earthiness of crunchy black pepper, and the fruitiness of smokey blue plums. A palate of black currant, wild blueberry, smokey beef brisket, black olive tapenade and an earthy, saline finish create a unique and beautiful Santa Barbara Syrah. 659 cases produced.
