Big Table Farm's Yamhill Carlton Chardonnay utterly captivating. It begins with gorgeous aromatics, offering notes of lemon curd, tangerine, kiwi, and lime flower, coupled with crushed stone, gun flint and a touch of honey. The palate is round and textured, with fresh acidity that frames the stone fruit, citrus and saline flavors all the way through the mineral driven finish. This is an absolutely radiant chardonnay that is showing beautifully now, but should also evolve with some short-term cellaring.
