This instantly opens to incredibly intoxicating aromas of ripe plums, smoky mesquite and cured meats, which are accented by salted kalamata olives, spices and hints of orange zest that all come together and burst from the glass. The palate is just as impressive, displaying a gorgeous medium body, that is beautifully structured with soft round tannins, resulting in a wonderful finessed mouthfeel that is utterly seamless. This goes on to impress with its remarkable overall balance and focus as the intense and complex flavors of plums, meat, smoke and salty olives all resonate through the gorgeous silky finish. Simply put, this is an exotic, expressive and utterly magnificent Syrah, which is already showing exceptionally well.
