The 2018 Ultreia de Valtuille is a simply gorgeous wine from Raúl Pérez, which displays incredible elegance and refinement. This absolutely dazzling red impresses with its perfumed aromatic profile that offers nuances of black raspberries and red berries accented by spices, dried florals, orange zest and crushed stones all taking shape. On the palate this possesses a medium body that shows incredible finesse, structured with fine silky tannins that are underlined by a lovey touch of acidity which provides a wonderful freshness all the way through the graceful finish. This is a pleasure to drink at a young age, however patience will be rewarded, as it should go on to age beautifully over the course of the next decade and beyond.
