The 2017 Woolsey Road Vineyard Chardonnay comes from a site planted in 2007 from cuttings of old Wente from the Platt Vineyard. It has a beautiful bouquet bursting with aromas of lemon bars, tangerine, tropical fruits, toasted brioche, butted almond are complemented with secondary nuances of fresh minerals and white flowers. This is a full-bodied Chardonnay with fantastic viscosity, and remarkable balance of natural acidity and fruit. This is fantastic today and will continue to flourish for the next decade.
