The 2019 Domaine Tempier is absolutely striking in this vintage. It is composed of 55% Mourvèdre, 25% Grenache and 20% Cinsault from clay, limestone soils. This begins to impress from the second it hits the glass, displaying a gorgeous peach-salmon color this gorgeous Rosé opens beautifully to striking aromas of peaches, nectarine zest, fresh lavender, crushed stones and oyster shell character that all take shape in the glass. On the palate this displays incredible precision and elegance, with gorgeous minerality and bright acidity framing the fresh, energetic core that expands through the vibrant finsih. This is an absolutely exceptional. age-worthy bottle of Rosé from the iconic producer that should not be missed.
