The 2018 'Pech Cabrio' begins with inviting aromas of black raspberries woven together spices, pepper, lavender and licorice all emerging the glass. On the palate this is medium to full-bodied and well-structured, supported by round tannins making for a lovely seamless mouthfeel. Flavors of dark raspberries, white pepper and lavender continue to build up the lingeringfinish. A lovely wine, which should continue to drink well over the course of the next five or so years.
