Kistler has been bottling a Chardonnay from Dutton Ranch since 1979, and the latest release is utterly fascinating. This thrilling Chardonnay offers striking aromatics of lemon peel, flint, crushed stone, orchard fruits and honeysuckle which all take shape beautifully in the glass. The palate is laser focused, with fantastic acidity and striking minerality that resonate all the way through the gorgeous mouthwatering finish. While this is absolutely stunning today, it will also be interesting to watch this beauty evolve over the course of the next decade.
