This Pinot Noir comes from the Huckleberry's Vineyard, a one-acre plot in the Green Valley of the Russian River Valley. It’s a small production release from Talisman of just 114 cases. It instantly begins to impress with its very pretty aromas of fresh black cherries and red berries, which are accented with damp forest floor, savory herbs, green leaf and fresh flowers that all come together beautifully. There is amazing freshness on the palate with gorgeous red fruit on the front end backed by nice earthy flavors on the tail end. This is another stunning pinot from Talisman in this vintage that is faboulus today, but should also contine to shine over the course of the next decade.
