CHANIN Pinot Noir, Los Alamos Vineyard 2017

Another sensational release from Gavin Chanin in this vintage is the Los Alamos Vineyard Pinot Noir. This stunning wine bright and vivid and opens with inviting aromas of fresh wild berries, red currants, cherries, black tea, loam, mint and forest floor nuances. On the palate this is just as impressive, showing wonderful elegance and purity through the beautiful silky finish. Still in its youth, it would be best to allow this another few years to age in the bottle, or some extended air contact at the very least. Nonetheless this is an outstnding bottle of Pinot Noir from one of the regions most exciting producers.
