The 2015 Red Car Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is a fantastic effort. It begins with aromas of ripe raspberries, strawberries, plums, blood orange, woven together with crushed rock, exotic spices and hints of damp earth. The paalte is medium-bodied and nicely concentrated with a gorgeous velvety texture, balanced by fresh red fruits and gorgeous underlying minerality that continues though the long finish. Overall, this is a sensational bottle of Pinot Noir which is very accessible today, yet should certainly continue to drink beautifully over the next handful of years.
