Ojai's Kessler-Haak Vineyard Pinot opens to a beautiful nose of red roses, fresh cherries, red currant and spice, along side nuances of cranberry, white pepper and lavender that all take shape beautifully. Medium-bodied, with fantastic intensity, this goes on to deliver bright glavors of red berries and spices that are framed by silky tannins and great freshness that continue through the pretty finish. This displays excellent aging potential and should benefit from another year or two of bottle age to flesh out.
