2013 Top 100 - Rank # 95 The 2012 Bluxome Street Sauvignon Blanc comes from the Rio Lindo, Bertoli and LaRochelle vineyards in the Russian River Valley. It brings a pretty light yellow, straw color with vibrant aromas of orange peel, cut grass, celery and a hint of oak along with a slight touch of black currant bud. The soft delicate entry onto the palate is followed by orange zest and other citrus flavors before finishing up with an encore of orange zest, grass and some hints of lemon. Overall, this is a great tasting Sauvignon Blanc, but just needs a bit more time in bottle to come together, however there is no doubt this is a very enjoyable wine.
