The 2010 Tenuta Sette Ponti Crognolo offers inviting aromas of freshly crushed blackberries, dark cherry, sandalwood, licorice, spice and even some earthy minerals. Full and balanced with silky, yet firm tannins and a seamless transition from start to finish. Love the extra grip and chewiness on the finish. Seems to be better than last years effort, but will need short term cellaring or some air time at the very least. (Best 2014-2020) - December, 2012 (JD)
