Founded in 1968 by Al and Boots Brounstein, Diamond Creek Vineyards holds a legendary place in Napa Valley’s winemaking history as the region’s first estate dedicated exclusively to Cabernet Sauvignon. Located on the secluded Diamond Mountain in the northern reaches of the valley, the winery quickly established itself as a pioneer of single-vineyard expressions, with a philosophy rooted in showcasing the nuances of terroir long before it became a widespread practice in California.

Diamond Creek is renowned for its trio of distinct vineyard sites—Volcanic Hill, Gravelly Meadow, and Red Rock Terrace—each with unique soil compositions and microclimates that result in remarkably different yet consistently age-worthy wines.
