The 2005 Sine Qua Non Atlantis Fe 203-1a is composed from blend 93% Syrah along with 5% Grenache, and 2% Viognier which is sourced from the Eleven Confessions Vineyard as well as White Hawk, Alban, and Bien Nacido. It brings a wonderful Northern Rhone style which readers who enjoy great Cornas and Cote-Rôtie will fall in love with. This offers enticing aromas and flavors of dark fruits, spices, pepper, raw meat, smoke with some wet stones and crushed dried violets. This is incredibly well made with impeccable balance, depth and finesse as the sleek, polished tannins take this wine into the long finish. A remarkable wine to say the least and this can certainly be approached now, however will continue to evolve for decades. (Best 2013-2030) - November, 2013 (JD)
