January, 2012 - On the lighter side for a Syrah, displaying notes of blackberry, dark plum, spices along with mineral and wet earth. On the palate this was round with a soft texture and mouth-watering acidty, however it was a little disjointed with and a the friut was showing a bit sour on the finish. The wine is a blend from 12 different vineyards in both Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties. (Drink 2012-2014)
