Limerick Lane always knocks it out of the park, and when I heard that they had a 100% Grenache, I was very excited to try it. Displaying a medium ruby-cranberry core with a neon pink rim, it boasts yummy aromas and flavors of macerated red raspberry, tangerine zest, pencil shavings, forest breeze, cedary herbs, and hints of spice. Alcohol approaches 15%, which is typical for the varietal, but it’s so well-balanced you don’t notice the heat. Creamy tannins and lemony acidity help finish the wine. Just 5 barrels produced.
