Nick and Sheila Nicholas started Anam Cara in 2001 as they grow Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in their 36 acre Nicholas Vineyard. This dark colored wine has spice rack elements on the nose as cinnamon, black pepper and clove initially entice you. There are mineral driven flavors of forest floor, fennel, black cherry and lengthy tannins that coat the mid-palate. This is lithe wine that doesn't disappoint in this vintage.
