OWEN ROE Pinot Noir 'Clonmaconis' 2014

This sensational Pinot Noir wine is a blend of Dijon clones (40% Dijon 114, 40% Dijon 115, and 20% Dijon 777) which is a 5-barrel selection sourced from Durant Vineyard, and Owen Roe's Dundee Hills AVA designate. This Pinot Noie possesses a wonderful earthy bouquet with wild mushroom, fennel, forest floor, black cherry cobbler and baking spices. Showing excellent polish on the mid-palate and nice richness and elegance, this wine yields bright flavors of black truffle oil, Mandarin orange rind, wet stone, black tea and black cherry. Smooth and earthy, this gorgeous wine will have an even brighter future ahead. (Best 2017-2030) - April, 2017 (OB)
