The 2015 'Dry' Riesling from Lemelson is a fantastic value buy from this estate. Packed with mouth-watering acidity, the wine weighs in at 12.5% alcohol, and begins with aromatics reminiscent of petrol, white grapefruit blossom, Granny Smith apple and suggestions of baking spices. This leads to bright flavors of green papaya, unripe mango, Gravenstein apple and a lingering, spicy finish. I can’t help to think how beautifully this would pair with sushi. This solid effort from Lemelson is a challenge to resist right now. (Best 2017-2025) - April, 2017 (OB)
