The 2013 'Fleur de Lis' Pinot Noir was aged for 15 months in 62% new French oak prior to bottling in April 2015. As this slowly begins to open it releases a wonderful aromatic profile of cranberries and cherries, pomegranate seed, cola and forest floor. Lithe and smooth on the mid-palate, there is a complex flavor profile of cranberry, teaberry, orange rind, wet rock and red cherries with a touch of dried sage. Rich and showing nice poise, this looks to have wonderful aging potential and should continue to show well over the course of next decade. (Best 2016-2028) - November, 2016 (OB)
