BIG TABLE FARM Pinot Noir, Cattrall Vineyard 2014

The Cattrall Vineyard is an Eola-Amity Hills AVA property run by Tom and Bill Cattrall, who have utilized Wadenswil clone Pinot Noir for their vineyard. This expressive Pinot Noir wine opens with a bouquet of wild mushrooms, forest floor, smoke, black raspberry and wild blackberry jam. There are dense flavors of red cherry, cranberry, pomegranate, orange rind, and black truffle oil that sit along lively minerality. The finish is exceedingly long in this polished and beautifully textured Pinot Noir. This is just a joy to savor as the texture brings you constantly back to the glass for more. While this wine will cellar beautifully for more than a decade, it is impossible to resist in its youth. (Best 2016-2029) - November, 2016 (OB)
