ARGYLE Pinot Noir 'Spirhouse' 2013

The 2013 Argyle 'Spirithouse' Pinot Noir was entirely sourced from the Lonestar Vineyard and is an excellent effort from this challenging vintage in Willamette. There are earthy aromas of sage, black truffle, forest floor and red cherry. This leads to flavors of red cherry, red raspberry, pomegranate and hints of orange rind. This shows nice weight considering the vintage, as the finish lingers in this seamless wine. The minerality is exceptional as this wine will age gracefully into the next decade. (Best 2016-2026) - October, 2016 (OB)
