The 2009 Lachini 'Estate' Pinot Noir is an excellent effort from a fruit driven vintage. Weighing in at 14.5% alcohol, the wine opens with aromatics of black cherry, nutmeg and black olive. There are flavors of black cherry, cedar, black raspberry and pomegranate seed. This will drink beautifully in the short-term. (Best 2016-2022) - July, 2016 (OB)
