BRITTAN VINEYARDS Pinot Noir 'Basalt Block' 2013

The wine is a blend of Pommard selection, blended with clonal selections 667, 777, 115 and Swan. The Pinot saw 12 months in 25% new French oak. This wine has aromas of cherry cola, red raspberry, lavender, and cranberry. This leads to dense flavors of pomegranate seed, black raspberry, black cherry, black truffle oil and orange rind. This has a wonderful mouthfeel, with impressive minerality that is a hallmark of Brittan. (Best 2016-2028) - February, 2016 (OB)
