The Pinot Noir comes from some esteemed properties including the Zenith Vineyard (23%), the Vitae Springs Vineyard (35%), the Temperance Hill vineyard (14%), the Freedom Hill Vineyard (14%), the Momtazi Vineyard (8%), and the Shea Vineyard (8%). The wine itself has aromas of cooked shiitake mushroom, forest floor and red raspberry with black cherry. There are flavors of tangerine orange rind, shitake mushroom, first floor, vanilla cream, red raspberry and cherry pie. Earthy and on the lean side, with a lovely minerality to this wine. Plenty of this well-made Pinot to come by, 4376 cases. (Best 2016-2024) - January, 2015 (OB)
