ARGYLE Chardonnay 'Nuthouse' 2013

This wine comes from the Lone Star vineyard (40%) the Knudsen vineyard (40%) and the Spirit Hill vineyard (20%). The wine was aged on lees for 12 months in 20% new French oak prior to bottling. This elegant Chard begins with fruity aromas of Meyer lemon, peach pit and orange blossom. This leads to flavors of lemon curd, vanilla cream and poached pear. Layered and viscous wine that is hard to resist right now. (Best 2015-2022) - December, 2015 (OB)
