The 2022 Solena Pinot Gris is a blend of 98% Pinot Gris and 2% Gewurztraminer and sports a light lemony core with shades of pink in the glass. It has a slight sweetness on the palate, not because I don’t think there is any residual sugar, but because of the fruitiness that pops across the tongue, it brings out the sweetness of the fruit. Notes of fresh linen, sliced pears, honeysuckle flowers, clover honey, and lemony citrus are all present and wonderfully combined on the palate. 3000 cases made.
