The ‘Alloro Vineyard’ is located in the Chehalem Mountains AVA and is set on basalt and loess soils. This opens with pretty rose water and red fruits that connect with the lighter peat moss tones aromatically. The palate reveals a silky texture and a soft, supple mouthfeel. Red fruits dance with minerals and a touch of citrus rind once in the mouth. This excellent effort should cellar well for the next decade.
