Albeit a bit rare to have Willamette Valley Sauvignon Blanc, this effort by Chris James Cellars shows refined aromatics of gooseberry, kumquat and shades of wet stone on the nose. Unfortunately the palate exhibits a bit too much sweetness for the varietal.
