Aging for 18 months in 25% new French oak, with fruit coming from vines that are about 40 years old, the 2019 Medici Pinot Noir displays a light brick-red core with a silvery rim. A very terroir-driven wine that sports notes of sweet black cherries, dried raspberries, red licorice, bitter herbs, and a touch of meatiness on the nose. Lush tannins, perfect acidity, and a red fruit and sweet spice finish complete the wine. 250 cases made.
