Aged for 10 months in 30% new French oak barrels before bottling, the 2021 Chehalem Mountain Origin Series Pinot Noir sees 20% whole cluster during fermentation. Splendid flavors and aromas of ripe blackberry, black raspberry, black pepper, cherry, marionberry, dried violet, and hibiscus present themselves wonderfully in the glass. Full and ripe tannins meld with the lemony acidity while it finishes dense, fleshy, yet elegant. 465 cases were produced.
