Aged in 25% new French oak barrels, the fruit comes from vines that are about 33 years of age. A light lemony core with a watery rim in the glass, the first impression of the wine is a cinnamon-coated apple amplified by dried Meyer lemon peel, sea breeze, white mushroom, and specks of vanilla bean. White flower aromas dominate the nose. Lemony acidity, a medium body, and a citrusy spice-driven finish complete the wine. Just 120 cases were made.
