Aged for 25% new French oak for one year and the first vintage from the Hazelfern Estate vineyard, it displays a medium brick-ruby core with an orange rim. Fresh raspberry, red currant, burnt orange, pine forest breeze, dried tarragon, and toasted clove are all present and combine perfectly together in the glass. The palate is lean, crunchy, and acidic with scrumptious red-fruit tones, and a savory and mineral finish. Better in 2023 and then enjoy for 10-12 years. 100 cases.
