The Durant Vineyard is a historic site that was planted in 1973 and is set on Jory soil. This lovely Pinot Noir begins with aromatics of red cherry, Rose petals, guava purée and hints of orange rind. The palate is lithe and polished, showing rich flavors of guava, pomegranate seed, blood orange, red cherry and cranberry sauce. The rich texture shows its class in this generally challenging vintage for Pinot Noir. There is a seamless quality to this wine that accentuates the gorgeous red fruit flavors.
