This Cabernet Sauvignon begins with aromatics of cassis, coffee grounds, black tea and loganberry jam. This leads to dense flavors of coffee grounds, black tea, blackberry cobbler and black cherry cough syrup. This is chewy and shows wonderful poise, as the wine is more fruit driven than the also outstanding ’12 Echo Ridge Cabernet bottling. (Best 2017-2027) - June, 2017 (OB)
