B. LEIGHTON Petit Verdot 2013

Brennan Leighton has made another impressive Petit Verdot bottling with his 2013 release. This deep colored wine begins with savory aromatics of dill, sagebrush, thyme, black cherry and blackberry cobbler. The palate is plush with flavors of black cherry, blackberry pie, sage and hints of leather. This is clearly one of the best of its kind in Washington. I expect this cellaring well into the next decade. (Best 2016-2026) - October, 2016 (OB)
