Sourced from the Eidolon Vineyard and the Pepperbridge Vineyard, this is a somewhat unusual blend of 25% Malbec and 75% Syrah. Aged 18 months in French oak, the wine brings aromatics reminiscent of blueberry, cassis, pencil lead and sagebrush. This leads to flavors of blackberry compote, anise, mocha and hints of tar. Only 100 cases made of this wine that is drinking in its sweet spot.(Best 2016-2024) - March, 2016 (OB)
